OK Guys, we have been putting this off for long enough, we need to make some clear cut decisions about what we are going to do about another LAN soon. The usual proplems arise like POW3R!! PPL NOT TURNING UP!! So lets make is a little simpler. As Dave will recall we used to have a regular weekly LAN called CarrickLAN running out of a community centre which worked really well but I am not suggesting that we run a weekly one but if we keep them small enough and you guys dont BITCH like BIATCHES about minimal prizes we could look into smaller 20-25 man LAN events. OK, I know it doesn't sound like many BUT it's better that a back yard event or in someones garage. If we run them often enough then I can maybe put up for some sponsorship of the usual guff! As I was writing this I thought I would give the costa road a wee buzz, they said we could have the Carrick Room, which is the upstairs Conference room for 24hrs. Link for the Conference room pic. Link for pic of conference room. Working out a minimum cost per head of the following; 25 Attendees - £15 per head 20 Attendees - £18 per head 15 Attendees - £24 per head Hows thats grab yas!! Now there is a little investigation work for myself and Dave to do about power sockets, as I think there is only 1 in the room. We might need to get a good head bashing as if the room hasn't enough power or we cant steal a socket or two from adjoining rooms then were stuffed!! Hows this all sound for a starter!!

We have now decided to change from the old style Forum Only Website to a proper portal where we can communicate information to you easily. There are lots of things happening now and I would like to say you are going to be pleased with them all. Our current situation has not allowed us to run any recent events but we are now getting our act together and have another event very soon in the months of SEPT/OCT 2008. I have had many suggestions from all you guys as to what you want from our events and I am nearly able to comply with all of them. Most importantly MORE EVENTS! Well with the suggestions of a large event location in Belfast we are now getting our act together and our image sorted. We will keep you posted about everything.
